Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, and Rahul Gandhi, a former leader of the party, made a case for "parivartan (change)" in Gujarat on Monday and asked voters to cast ballots.
At 8 am on Monday, the second and final phases of voting for the Gujarat Assembly elections began in 93 constituencies spread over 14 districts in the state's central and northern regions.
"It is a humble request to every citizen of Gujarat to participate in this 'parivartan utsav (festival of change)'. Do vote today," Kharge said in a tweet in Hindi.
