Pratyusha Banerjee, who had allegedly committed suicide on Friday, was found hanging from the ceiling, by her boyfriend, Rahul Raj Singh at her Mumbai residence. He then rushed her to Kokilaben hospital, where she was declared dead.
Buzz has it that Pratyusha took the drastic step because of her relationship woes. Reportedly, she wasn't happy with the way things were shaping up between her and her actor-producer boyfriend. Though it was Rahul, who admitted her to the hospital, he soon went missing. He had even switched off his phone but now, he has given his statement to the cops.
In his statement to the police, Rahul said that they used to stay in a two bedroom flat and had two keys to the apartment, out of which one used be with Pratyusha and one with him. He stated that when he entered the bedroom, on Friday, he found her hanging from the ceiling.
He further revealed that he called the neighbours and with their help took her to Kokilaben Hospital, assuming that she was still alive. He revealed that he didn't inform the police as he got very scared after the confirmation of Pratyusha’s death. He also told the police that he informed her family members and close friends after she was pronounced dead.
Pratyusha was soon to get married to Rahul and the duo also participated in the reality show 'Power Couple'.
