India has been ranked sixth among the world's Top-Ten largest manufacturing countries.Previously, India was 9th rank in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) report.As per the yearbook published by the UNIDO, India’s Manufacturing Value Added grew by 7.6 percent in 2015 compared to the previous year.The quarterly index of industrial production shows 1 percent growth of manufacturing output in the fourth quarter of 2015 compared to the same period of previous year. The global growth rate of manufacturing production has slowed to 2.8 percent in 2015.China tops the list followed by US, Japan, Germany and Korea.
