Jammu & Kashmir Tourism set a new target of attracting 2 crore tourists this year, building upon the record-breaking 1.88 crore visitors last year. The state aims to entice not just domestic but international tourists as well, benefiting the local economy. Lieutenant-Governor Manoj Sinha announced this ambitious plan, citing the positive response already seen this season, with the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden welcoming its highest-ever footfall of tourists at around 3.75 lakh visitors. The garden is located on the foothills of the Zabarwan mountain range in Srinagar.
