The couple involved in the Kulhad Pizza case claims they are encountering political pressure to reach a settlement regarding the alleged compromising video of them

Sehaj Arora and his wife, the Jalandhar-based proprietors of ‘Kulhad Pizza’ on Tuesday claimed that they were facing political pressure to settle a case over a viral video allegedly showing them in a compromising position. “Appeal to media and public...I don't have the courage to give interview and make videos again and again. Don't ruin our image by giving fake statements without any evidence," Sehaj Arora wrote on Facebook and Instagram.

“We are being forced to settle this due to political pressure. Statements were made against us when we denied. I have all the evidence. We don't have any political support. We need your support to stop these videos on internet and get justice," he added.

Earlier this month, a video purportedly showing Sehaj Arora and his wife in compromising position went viral. He had called it “fake" and filed a police complaint. He had claimed that the woman who blackmailed them was arrested.

The couple, who recently became parents, alleged that the incident was a result of an extortion bid and said the viral video is “morphed".

Arora said that his wife is suffering from “depression" and called for the support of their followers. They had gained popularity for serving pizza in earthen cups.

Last week, Sehaj Arora in a video shot outside a police station said that someone had sent them the “fake" video on Instagram and demanded money. He refused to pay them money after which the video was posted on social media.

“You may have come across a video of us….it is completely fake. The reason behind its circulation is that 15 days ago, we got a message on Instagram about an extortion bid along with the video….the miscreant claimed they would make a video viral if the demand was not met….but we did not give into the demand and reported the incident to the police…," Sehaj said in Punjabi. In another video released on Friday, Arora shared what he and his wife went through due to the controversy.
