Anil Baijal is likely to be the new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi after Najeeb Jung demits office. Baijal is Former Home Secretary has donned many hats before he retired from services in October 20116 as Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development.
An IAS of 1969 batch has also been the vice-chairman of the DDA and held at top positions in Prasar Bharti and Indian Airlines.
Earlier last week, 65-years-old Najeeb Jung had resigned from the post without citing any reason for his action.
