Government to launch dedicated helpline number 14444 for all your queries regarding digital payments

The government seems very serious about encouraging Indian citizens to use digital payment and go cashless. IT industry body Nasscom, telephone operators and the government has collaborated to create a helpline number 14444 to address all queries related to digital payments, NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Arvind Panagariya said.


The fourth meeting of Committee of Chief Ministers on digital payments Convenor and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that helpline number will be launched soon.



The Committee of Chief Ministers on digital payments has also informed media that the government is planning to import 10 lakh new PoS machines to support cashless economy. 

 


"Our focus is on providing more incentives for making digital payments a mass movement," Naidu said, adding "things are moving very positively on a digital economy for India".
