Hope you all are planning to welcome the new year with a big bash but your hopes could be dashed by the Prime Minister, who is going to address the nation on the eve of new year, which also coincide with the expiry of 50-day demonetisation era in which he asked the citizens to endure for the betterment of the country.
However, the PM Modi had also promised that the note ban would combat the black money in the country but the focus on black money has almost faded away and the government is surprisingly encouraging cashless economy.
Some media reports suggest that the PM could make a couple of announcement to assuage the citizen of India hit by note ban in the country. While the witty PM is likely to keep such announcement for later when is will be addressing an election rally in Lucknow on January 2.
In his address to the nation, Narendra Modi may try to make an emotional pitch expressing gratitude to the people for their hardship during due note ban and announce to ease banking regulations.
Modi's direct communication with the masses has worked so far, as people have undergone demonetisation-related troubles with equanimity, trusting him to be taking risky and difficult measures for the greater good.
