According to information updated on December 6, 2022, filmmaker Gil Kenan will take up "Ghostbusters: Afterlifesequel.
The core group from the Jason Reitman-directed 2021 film, including Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace, will reportedly return for the follow-up.
In a reference to the locations of the 1980s movies that will be featured in the new part, the movie's code name is Fire House.
