ASSOCHAM’S VISION PUNJAB 2022 AND 'INVEST PUNJAB' JOIN HANDS TO SPUR INVESTMENT IN PUNJAB: ANMOL GAGAN MAAN

Punjab is all set for industrial growth and partnerships to ensure ease of doing business. Mr. Bhagwant Mann, Chief Minister Punjab, will be sharing his collaborative and progressive vision while interacting with the industry heads during Assocham’s ‘Vision Punjab 2022’which is being organized on August 26, 2022 with the support of Invest Punjab, the investment promotion agency and single window clearance office of Punjab.
The event is first-of-its-kind, entirely industry led platform, focusing on opportunities for investments and partnerships for a New Punjab.
Sharing the vision and investment roadmap of the state, Ms. Anmol Gagan Mann, the Minister-In-Charge for Investment Promotion said, “Our government is all set to usher in a new era of facilitative approach and single-window support system through Invest Punjab. We wish to make the global investors aware of the thriving investment eco-system of the state, and how Punjab intends to ensure that industries in Punjab become an integral part of the global value chain.”
The event includes thought-provoking panel discussions, with esteemed government and industry speakers followed by a cultural performance by Nooran Sisters and networking dinner. ASSOCHAM, one of India’s oldest apex industry chamber with over 4.5 Lac members spread across geographies, had prepared and submitted a vision document to the Government of Punjab, urging the government to focus on the growth of new avenues of business and job creation. The vision document was well received by industry stakeholders and on basis of that, the unique platform of Vision Punjab was conceptualized, under the worthy leadership of Mr. A S Mittal, Chair, ASSOCHAM North Region Development Council & Vice Chairman, International Tractors Ltd (Sonalika), who also holds an additional charge of Vice Chairman for Punjab State Economy and Public Policy Commission, Government of Punjab.
